After her medical training, she practiced as a family physician before beginning her studies to obtain her Ph.D. in Histology and Embryology. Following her studies, she began her industry career in a healthcare communication organization. Here she specialized in the development and execution of pharmaceutical product launches, medical training, and publication development.

Her experience in healthcare communications provided the platform for her industry career in local and international pharmaceutical companies. In these pharmaceutical companies, she held various global, regional, and local roles, primarily in medical affairs but also in marketing and business development. Her therapeutic expertise spans oncology, rare diseases, cardiology, urology, and anti-infectives.

As a medical executive, she led diverse and multicultural teams while also advancing healthcare by delivering innovative medicines, shaping healthcare and patient policies, and developing medical affairs talent. Utilizing her breadth and depth of experience, she is passionate about advancing healthcare by developing and implementing strategies that will benefit patients’ lives.

She earned her medical degree at Ankara University Medical School and a Ph.D. at Istanbul University Medical School. She also received her MBA degree from Yeditepe University, Istanbul. In addition, she participated and received certification in a “Medical Affairs in Medicine Development” program at King’s College, London & The International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP).
